Utilizing data science to accelerate your business
Chemical manufacturing requires engineers to put in a great deal of effort, drawing on their knowledge and experience, from material design in the lab to mass production process design and quality control system establishment at the plant. In this age of digital transformation, there is a steadily growing trend to utilize data science to reduce development costs and improve speed.
However, during my time working at a chemical manufacturer, I personally experienced the high hurdles of mastering data science and applying it in practical applications. Even if you do it yourself, it takes time to master programming skills, external services are expensive and do not sufficiently cover the chemical field, and although some numerical solutions are produced, they are not accompanied by scientific interpretations. I experienced a variety of challenges.

Therefore, with the aim of providing services that truly promote the use of data science in the chemical field, we have established Data Chemical Co., Ltd. in collaboration with our own company's Hiromasa Kaneko (Associate Professor, Meiji University's School of Science and Technology). Our company handles the technical fields of chemoinformatics (molecular design), materials informatics (material design), and process informatics (process design and management) as a single unit, which were previously considered separately, and provides services that enable customers to carry out high-quality data analysis and machine learning for a variety of technical projects themselves, and achieve total efficiency from laboratories and labs to equipment and plants.
Data science is by no means a magical tool that will solve everything automatically if you input the right data; rather, it is essential that you accumulate the know-how to utilize data science yourself. We encourage our customers to try out our data analysis and machine learning platform, Datachemical LAB, by actually applying their own experimental data and experiencing the series of programs. Even if you are new to machine learning, if you already have knowledge of chemistry, you will likely come up with a multitude of ideas for how to use it.
Datachemical LAB can help you generate ideas.
We hope to contribute to making our engineers' daily work more efficient by utilizing data science, and to enabling them to demonstrate their abilities in high-value-added technical projects, so we appreciate your continued support.
